2021 Chevrolet Equinox

There are four trim levels available on the 2021 Chevrolet Equinox. This year's base trim level is the L. There are several excellent exterior features standard on the base trim including heated side mirrors, 17-inch alloy wheels, chrome bumpers, and a black grille with a chrome surround. The LS trim is the second available trim. It includes the same exterior features as the L, however, it does include more optional features such as an all-black grille or side steps for easier entry.
The third available trim level is LT. Following a similar pattern, the stock LT features the same exterior appearance as the LS, but, adds more optional choices to create visual flair. A roof rack, metallic paint finish, and turn signal indicators on the side mirrors are all optional features on the LT. The highest available trim level on the 2021 Equinox is the Premier. This trim features an 18-inch wheel size, side cladding, and a full-chrome grille. Turn signal indicators on the side mirrors are standard instead of optional on the Premier.

There is only one engine configuration on the 2021 Chevy Equinox across all four trim levels. The four-cylinder engine boasts an output of 170 horsepower and 230 pound-feet of torque. The engine is on the smaller side for an SUV, but that comes with the benefit of better fuel efficiency than larger engines.

The 2021 Chevy Equinox is equipped with several great performance features. The L trim is equipped with front-wheel drive while the other three trims include options for either front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. All drivetrain configurations include a six-speed automatic transmission. An auto/manual feature that allows drivers to select gears manually is also included on all four trims. The 2021 Chevrolet Equinox can tow up to 2,500 pounds if properly equipped.
