The All New 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500
Drivers place a lot of demand on their pickup trucks. They want something that offers access to today's most in-demand technology as well as the ability to tackle any task. The 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 delivers in all areas and more, thanks to an impressive set of trim levels, engines, and technology features.
Trim Levels (Exterior)
There are eight different trim levels included on the 2021 Chevy Silverado 1500. The base trim level is the Work Truck, or WT, which is followed by the Custom, LT, Custom Trail Boss, RST, KTZ, LT Trail Boss, and High Country. Each trim adds a bit more as far as exterior features go. There is also a wide range of cab and bed styles to accommodate each driver's needs. Extended cabs offer more seating room while larger beds allow for larger payload delivery.
The Work Truck trim level includes 17-inch wheels, a black bumper, and a black grille. The Custom trim features several distinct changes from the lower trim level including larger, 20-inch wheels, a body-colored grille bar, tow hooks in the front, and heated side mirrors. The LT trim is the first to include aluminum alloy wheels instead of steel wheels, however, the wheel size is reduced back down to 17 inches. This trim also features chrome bumpers and a black grille.
From an exterior perspective, the Custom Trail Boss features quite a few changes including skid plates, 18-inch wheels, and a rear-step bumper. The RST features a few small indicators such as black rub strips and a body-colored surround plate on the grille. The LTZ adds a wide assortment of chrome embellishments, 20-inch wheels, and a multi-flex tailgate. In the second-highest spot, the LT Trail Boss trim adds fog lamps, while the eighth and highest trim level, the High Country, adds turn signal indicators in the side mirrors and similar chrome embellishments as the LTZ.
